New Top-level Domains
	This page provides links to information about the introduction of new top-level domains. The .info, .biz, and .name TLDs are accepting registrations. Seven new TLD proposals selected for introduction. At its meeting on 16 November 2000, the ICANN Board selected the seven new top-level domains listed in a chart for negotiation of agreements allowing them to be included in the Internet's domain-name system. These are the first new TLDs, other than country-code TLDs, to be introduced to the Internet since 1988. Agreements have already been reached with .aero, .biz, .coop, .info, .museum, and .name.
